Scott Dyleski
Scott Dyleski

In 2006 Scott Dyleski was convicted in the murder of Pam Vitale, wife of high-profile California lawyer Daniel Horowitz. Dyleski was 16 at the time that he committed the brutal murder of Ms. Vitale. Dyleski was sentenced to life without parole.

Now Dyleski’s legal team is petitioning to have his conviction overturned stating not only that Dyleski received ineffective counsel but they basically accuse Daniel Horowitz of being the ‘real killer’. They claim that his alibi at the time of Ms. Vitale’s murder was not properly verified. They say they have evidence that will clear Dyleski.

I guess they forgot that whole DNA evidence thing not to mention that Dyleski basically signed his work by carving a symbol into Ms. Vitale’s back that he also used to sign his ‘artwork’. Let us also not forget that there was reason to believe that Dyleski’s mother may have tried to destroy evidence as well.

It seems that the hippy commune that Dyleski was raised in finally found an attorney that bought into its conspiracy theories of Dyleski being framed.

    1. Yeah, good luck with that.

  2. He was framed.
Horowitz did it. While working the Polk trial he met a juror, an attractive 35 yr old woman. One month before his wife was murdered. She was dismissed but returned the next day saying she would write a book about the case. Horowitz gave her a CD with all the info on the case.
2 days after his wife was murdered he hired this woman, they were together from that day. He married her and moved into the mansion and had a baby.

The DNA evidence was basically fraud.
Horowitz has friends in the media who circled the wagons around him.
He will be indicted, give it about 2 yrs.

    1. That’s the third or fourth conspiracy theory I’ve heard since Dyleski was originally arrested.

I’d rather believe in these things called facts. The same facts that rightfully put Dyleski away for life.
