Sex trafficker sentenced to 30 years in prison:
Leighton Martin Curtis of Tamarac, Florida is your typical scum-sucking child pimp. He met a 15-year-old runaway and turned her out on the street within days. He also took explicit photos of her so he could sell her on Backpage and craigslist like a used couch. She worked for him for a year, up to five days per week, being raped by johns up to seven per day. A rough estimate would mean that she had over 1800 ‘dates’ in a year.
Curtis was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison on sex trafficking and child porn charges. But it probably doesn’t end there. Even though the article doesn’t state it most pimps rape the women and girls that they work for and beat them on a regular basis. More than likely that happened here as well.
30 years behind bars is a good start. But how sad is it that we have to look to Florida of all states to see semi-decent sentences being handed out to these scumbags?
