Erica Parsons’ missing poster

Exclusive: Casey Parsons opens up about missing teen:

Erica Parsons’ adoptive mother blames birth mom for disappearance:

Ok, I know I said I wasn’t going to mention Erica Parsons’ adoptive mother’s name on here since she has yet to be charged with a crime but since it’s already out there you can’t un-ring the bell plus I find it ironic that her name is Casey. Speaking of Caseys, Casey Anthony should sue Casey Parsons for plagiarism.

In recent interviews with the local news not only has Casey Parsons blamed the possibly fictional Irene ‘Nan’ Goodman that no one can prove ever existed but now she’s also blaming Erica’s biological mother, Carolyn Parsons.

“Carolyn is the key,” she said.

Casey says she let Erica move in with a woman named Irene or “Nan” almost two years ago. She says at the time she believed “Nan” was Erica’s biological grandmother.

“We don’t know who Nan is. But I think those answers are going to come from Carolyn,” she said.

“Carolyn is the one that sent “Nan” to us, and if Carolyn really cared, I don’t think she’d go away to Louisiana,” Casey said.

Carolyn says she went home to Louisiana just a few days ago to spread the word about Erica’s disappearance there.

The problem with this scenario is the fact that Casey Parsons and her husband were the ones receiving the state benefit checks for Erica. If Carolyn Parsons and the alleged Irene Goodman were taking Erica wouldn’t they want the benefits that went with her?

Someone is going to get so wrapped up in their own lies that it will be their downfall. We can only hope that it leads to finding Erica safe but I wouldn’t hold my breath on it.

  1. Yes, I’m up on the Parsonses. I have no doubt that they are responsible for whatever horrible thing happened to Erica, and the girl is either dead or (much less likely) sold into prostitution in some shitty Third World country.

What blows my mind is how LAME the Parsons’ stories are. Most parents who abuse/kill their kids at least come up with a pretty detailed excuse or cover story (a’ la Casey Anthony,) The Parsonses, though, aren’t even bothering with a MINIMALLY credible story! I mean, what they contend happened is not only ludicrous, but has largely been ruled out by investigators. And yet they continue to insist that this invisible “Nan” has the girl. Emails, text messages, a LAST NAME – for krist’s sake??? Um . . . nope . . . didn’t get a last name, don’t know where she lives, deleted the text messages, might have had some email – but we got rid of the computer and don’t know where that is EITHER. I can only conclude that the Parsonses are 99% confident that they won’t be found out and/or they know there won’t be enough evidence to convict them in court. They certainly have had a nice head start, haven’t they? Erica disappeared, as far as anyone can tell, at least 1 1/2 years ago and time being so crucial to an investigation – well, maybe the Parsonses have reason for their confidence.

One last thing: Erica, in the dozens of photos I’ve seen of her (some from when she was much younger), had a “look” I’m fairly familiar with. It’s called “Failure to Thrive” in kids. As far as I’ve ever been able to discern, FtT is a bullshit medical condition that exonerates those who are incompetent parents. There isn’t anything actually medically wrong with FtT kids, but their are undersized, skinny, sickly, fragile, have dark circles under their eyes, don’t sleep well, and never have that joie de vivre’ that children SHOULD have. They are unhappy kids. They are constantly stressed. They don’t get the emotional or physical comfort and nurturing they should from birth, mom is usually some iteration of a ‘drama queen’ and her lifestyle is generally unhealthy – she smokes, does rec drugs or tons of prescriptions, drinks too much, and doesn’t care much about hygiene. Their lives are very unstable, financially and emotionally. The FtT child is literally and/or metaphorically forgotten in the corner. Sooner or later, a doctor says the kid has “Failure-to-Thrive”, because they’re too chickenshit to say it is the direct result of lousy parenting. Standard treatment plan for FtT? They prescribe a nutritional supplement like the kiddy version of “Ensure” and get weighed more often. Nothing else really changes, and good old mom can now go around and pretend – with the complicity of the doctors – that her child is just kind of sick and that those extra calories are going to fix EVERYTHING. Easy-peasey-Japanesey! Anyway, to me Erica had a classic FtT appearance. That poor girl. Wherever she is now, I just hope she isn’t suffering any longer. And I hope the Parsonses – those scumbags -get rung like a big goddamned bell for what they’ve done.

    1. The only way Erica isn’t suffering is, unfortunately, if she’s dead. And if she’s dead there’s no way she’s enjoying her new family/home/life.

If she’s alive, there is no perfectly good, happiness-and-rainbows reason she hasn’t come forward. If she’s been rehomed she’s probably being abused somehow.

Casey and Sandy Parsons’ access to their children, Sadie and Toby, may be blocked very soon. about goddamn time someone realized these two weren’t fit to even raise goldfish.
