Former Ohio doctor pleads guilty in heroin death of expectant mom who answered Craigslist ad:

I originally posted about the murder of Deanna Ballman here. She was the pregnant Ohio mother of two who died after responding to a craigslist ad placed by Dr. Ali Salim. Salim is believed to have raped her and injected her with heroin causing a fatal overdose. You can read the rest of the details in my original post.

This past week Salim pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter, tampering with evidence and abuse of a corpse, but pleaded no freakin’ contest to the rape charge. A no contest plea basically says that the suspect doesn’t admit to the crime but admits that prosecutors have enough evidence to convict him for the crime. Essentially it’s a guilty plea without admitting guilt. Typical for this arrogant prick. It’s not like pleading no contest to the rape is going to keep your ass out of jail for a long time.

Also Ballman’s family is not only suing Salim for the wrongful death of Deanna but they’re suing craigslist as well. I wonder how many bodies it will take before craigslist starts monitoring their site.
