Erica Parsons’ missing poster

Adoptive mom disputes financial aspect article on missing teen Erica Parsons:

This story is a week old but you should be used to my tardiness by now.

Anyway local TV station WBTV recently did a story about how the adoptive parents of Erica Parsons were allegedly still collecting government benefits meat for Erica the entire time she’s been missing. It seems that Casey Parsons, Erica’s adoptive mother, is one of those people who has to react to anything. I’m surprised she hasn’t shown up[ here yet. She’s basically saying that her and her husband are due the money and that we shouldn’t question it….

My husband and I have never ever signed our rights away for Erica. We are still legally responsible for her. Please keep reading and make sure to even read the special paragraph the state writes about a child even leaving home. “Out-of-Placements” These statements are made out of the mouth of our own Government. Exactly what my husband and I did for Erica. We had an Out-of-Home arrangement.

Except there’s two things that probably need clarifying. Was any of that money used on Erica? Did you send any of it to Erica’s allegedly imaginary new caretaker? If I had to lay odds I would say no to both.

By the way have you had your trip to New Orleans yet?

  1. Casey is a sociopath. She’s just a really dumb one who can’t keep her mouth shut. She doesn’t know how to pretend she cares about Erica, because she doesn’t feel any maternal love– only the love someone feels for a possession.

I’d be really goddamn surprised if Erica’s still alive somewhere. Even if she got re-homed that’s no guarantee.

    1. If she is still alive, I hope she stays out of sight long enough for these pieces of shit to go to jail for a bit.

      1. They at least have to go to jail on fraud charges when all is said and done.

  2. How can someone be “gone” in a world filled with drones, administration, internet, registries and Obama’s “Yes, we scan!” policies?

I am surprised that there are still people around who believe this bullshit story.

    1. Don’t know how I missed your comment but you may want to loosen that tin foil hat a little bit.

    2. It’s shockingly easy when you’re a child who was pulled out of public school years ago and has no online presence whatsoever. Nobody from the state was watching this girl.

  3. Time for another crackpot theory from Muggle:

I heard about the custody hearing on Twitter. Jamie Parsons went on the stand and said that he needs to find Erica. I’m getting a bit more faith that she may still be alive somewhere. However, instead of being re-homed, I’m starting to wonder if Erica wasn’t shipped off to one of those awful “troubled teen” reform schools/boot camps. I’m sure some of them are truly great, but a lot of them are fraudulent and horribly abusive. I can see a kid being imprisoned in one for years.

I know, I know, another crack pot theory– but it would explain why she left so many things behind, and apparently didn’t even take a suitcase with her to visit Imagi-Nan who supposedly had new clothes for her, and even a horse farm!

Just for reference, some of these “brat camps” do falsely advertise horseback riding as a therapeutic and/or extra-curricular activity.

    1. re-homing (reuters did an investigation recently)…adoptive parents ship off their “troublesome” adoptive children (usually children who have experienced serious trauma in their lives) to perfect strangers who advertise on Yahoo Forums as ‘home-study’ ready parents ‘just looking for a child to love’. Yahoo has since removed these forums but I am sure backpage or craigslist is more than happy to fill that need. Could be an option in this situation.
