One of the more popular posts on my site is this one from March, 2012 about a California teacher who was allegedly trading explicit pictures with a 13-year-old girl over anonymous webcam chat site Omegle. People usually find it by searching phrases like “Are there cops on Omegle?” or “Will I get arrested on Omegle?” The answer to both is yes. If you’re unfamiliar with Omegle go back and check the archives.

Anyway in the latest incident 30-year-old Kristopher K. Sims of Augusta, Kansas, was arrested for allegedly trading child porn on Omegle. Omegle themselves actually contacted authorities after they a chat took place where Sims allegedly traded a graphic image of, as the article says, an adult male engaged in sexual activity with a female child who appeared to be under the age of four. I can just feel my stomach producing the bile. Sims is looking at 15 to 30 years in federal prison.

So take note predators Omegle obviously has no problem with turning you in.

It takes a special type of stupid to trade something so vile and illegal on a site whose slogan is “talk to strangers!” Even if you don’t run across a cop you will probably come across someone who isn’t a sick fuck who will not hesitate to go to the cops.

Yes indeed! Every time I start to think that my fellow human beings are intelligent creatures, I end up encountering another unique DOPE that demonstrates that he or she has that very special type of “stupid” that restores my faith in humanity’s ability to rise to new heights!!! ….. “NOT!!!!”

Oh, and another thing: There is no way to anonymously send pictures over the internet! Those require WEBCAMS!! Webcams BROADCAST the signal to the given “receiving” computer network!!! Omegle itself may be a relatively anonymous network. But NOT BROADCASTED IMAGES SENT BY WEBCAM!!! For the record,… THERE IS NO WAY TO ENCRYPT OR CLOAK A BROADCAST!!!!! You have to step WAY outside the limited safety of the telephone line in order to send PICTURES ( especially VIDEOS and “LIVE STREAM FOOTAGE!!! ) THOUSANDS of foolish people ( like the ones pictured “on the right”>>> ) are finding themselves in jail EVERY SINGLY YEAR because they did not know that, yes, websites like Omegle and Chat Roulette are often somewhat anonymous. But, for the last time, there is NO way to encrypt or in any effective way “cloak” a BROADCAST!!! And there are hundreds of thousands of cops, FBI agents, NSA detectives, internet crime task-forces, etc,.. all waiting to INTERCEPT those incriminating, foolishly broadcasted and live-streamed images!!! Your IP address will be in that broadcast. They also have a totally AWESOME GPS system in place that will “lock in on” that broadcasted signal ( a butt naked honest signal with NO protections whatsoever!!! ) and trace it ( using space age state of the are satellite imaging ) right to it’s point of origin!!! …. YOUR COMPUTER!!!
“BUSTED!!!” On the right >>> are just a few of the THOUSANDS of people who thought that their broadcasted signals were cloaked and or anonymous. They know better NOW!!!
How MANY of these people get busted in every state in the union every single WEEK?!? All of our our nation’s county jails and prisons are being FILLED with these cyber criminals,…. EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!
Chew on THAT one for awhile!!!
