Reno, Nevada, police have recently released new information about the student that was shot there by police earlier this month. While the 14-year-old student has not been identified by police or media, his family has identified him as Logan Clark.
After interviewing over 100 people, Reno police say that not only had Clark allegedly taken knives to school previously, but he did so in order to initiate a fight with another student…
Police say during the course of the investigation it was learned the 14-year-old boy who was shot December 7, 2016 had taken knives to school on the days leading up to the incident, with the apparent intent to start a fight with another student. That altercation didn’t happen, but December 7, just before the shooting incident, the 14-year-old was involved in an altercation with a different student.
What’s the term for someone who goes around looking for a fight in school while armed? It’s on the tip of my tongue. Oh, that’s right, a bully. Funny how that always seems to work out.
According to police, not only did Clark cut the face of the student involved in the altercation but he also allegedly made ‘challenging statements’ to police while refusing to comply with police orders to disarm. It’s really no wonder this kid got shot, but let’s blame police instead for not talking to him about his feelings.
Speaking of police, there have still not been any charges filed against the acting officer or against Clark.
