Tenn appeals court affirms teen’s guilty plea in school shooting that killed 1, wounded 2:

The Tennessee Court of Appeals has ruled that Kenneth Bartley Jr. willingly and knowingly entered into a guilty plea for the shooting at Campbell County High that left Assistant Principal Ken Bruce dead and Principal Gary Seale and Assistant Principal Jim Pierce wounded.

Bartley’s current attorney argued that his attorney at the time of trial pressured him into taking the deal.

Bartley was charged as an adult and was sentenced to 45 years in prison. He was 14 at the time he killed Ken Bruce.

One response to “Guilty plea upheld in Campbell County High shooting”

  1. Gee…I wonder how many school shooters would like to go back and have a “redo” after they figure out that it’s all for real……So…was it worth it kenneth? My guess is….no.
