With the overturning of Prop 8 in California, it gives me a chance to address something that has bothered me for a long time.

First, let me say that I have no issue with gay marriage. It’s not like that straight people have been a bastion of the sanctity of marriage for the past 50 years.

Anyway, this is for the people who say that gay marriage will lead to the acceptance of child molestation. To those people, I say not only are you stupid you’re also blind.

The acceptance of child molestation has been gaining ground for years and has nothing to do with gay marriage. If you’ll notice I’ve been bitching about what light sentences that child molesters have been getting.

It’s not gay marriage that’s been causing the acceptance of child molestation but it’s with our judges and lawmakers who not only make the laws that allow child molesters to get off lightly but also let them back on the streets after offending.

So get your head out of your ass and if you really want to do something about child molesters write your government representatives for stiffer sentences for child molesters and not about letting a marriage happen that would have no effect on your life.
