Prosthetic Leg Found, Believed to be Zahra Baker’s:

Believed to be? Yeah, because the woods of the North Carolina foothills are just littered with child-sized prosthetic legs. I know, I know. Chain of evidence, DNA, all that. It just pisses me off to the point that I can barely see straight.

Apparently, the step-gothapotamus from hell has decided to cooperate with the police. If you haven’t read the news, a mattress has been recovered from a landfill, and law enforcement has been directed to other sites to recover evidence based on information from “it”. As far as I’m concerned, that thing isn’t human. Anyone who would do something like this to a child who has already been through so much has to turn in their human being badge, immediately. I would imagine that it is cooperating to get the death penalty taken off the table.

And is just me, or is the step-thing kinda looking like a step-meth-gothapotamus these days. It’s nowhere near as huge as it was in the wedding picture. Meth or crack, one of the two. Maybe having to care for a disabled child was taking up too much of the drug money. But daddy dearest doesn’t look like he missed many meals. I agree with Trench that money was an issue somewhere. I just can’t figure out where.

Speaking of daddy dearest, I wonder what the Australian consulate is doing for him, if anything. I may have to spend tomorrow researching just what is their responsibility to him. You know, I have trouble calling him “him”. But two “it”s would just be too confusing.

We’re still having nasty rainy weather here this evening. I’d still walk across 3 counties to beat both of them to death. I know that would make me no better than them, but it’s times like these that I really respect the Old Testament God, the One who taught an eye for an eye and all that. Talking to my mother earlier, I told her that while I hate reading all these stories of abused and murdered children, this one just won’t let me go. I suppose it’s because no one should have had to suffer so much in such a short lifetime. No one should ever have to suffer that much in any lifetime. If the death penalty is being taken off the table, I hope it lives a long, horrible life of being constantly abused in prison. Child killers are pretty much the lowest of the low on the prison food chain, and I would think that anyone who kills a disabled child is going to be considered lower than that. Have fun, Elisa and Adam. Personally, I wouldn’t care if either one of you didn’t live long enough to make it to trial.

  1. Its so true about helpless children Mr. Reynolds. I can not under stand why some parents , wheather or not they are the real parents or stepparents can hate children so much. What in the world have these innocent babies- children ever done to have some evil touch and destroy their lives?

  2. This makes me sick. That poor little girl. I hope she didn’t suffer.

    1. unfortunately, she suffered quite a bit.

in other news, daddy dearest has been released on $7000 bond. i mean, really…not like he would be a flight risk or anything considering he’s not even an American citizen. i swear, sometimes our legal system is dumb as a box of hair.

      1. A foreigner facing possible murder charges, oh yeah, he’s going to stick around. Sure. Maybe the judge who gave him the option of bail would be interested in this nice piece of waterfront property I have in Florida …

      3. I feel sick thinking about it.  Fuck.

      4. Uh, my hair is smarter than that. You know he was involved. And, you know he’ll try to flee. She’s going to try to plea-bargain by implicating him. This is going to be even more of a cluster than it is right now.

      5. Well, they could have made him surrender his passport, although they usually only do that when releasing somone without bail.

  3. one small saving grace is that security at Charlotte/Douglas airport is pretty tight. there’s not a cop or a TSA agent in that place that doesn’t know what he looks like.
