Missing child’s dad: Dismiss charges:

Ernesto Gonzalez is the father of Giovanni Gonzalez who has been missing since August of 2008. The elder Gonzalez is believed to have been involved with the disappearance of his son and has been sitting in jail on parental kidnapping and obstruction charges since he won’t divulge any information about where his son is. He previously claimed to a Boston newspaper that he killed his son but police have their doubts about that.

Now the public defender for Gonzalez will be filing a motion in court to have the charges dismissed due to lack of evidence. That will be argued in court on March 30th.

I can’t really add much to this except to say that people have been convicted without a ‘body’ so to speak. So don’t be surprised if new charges will be filed against him.
