Sex suspect interrupts online dangers lesson in NC:

In Asheboro, North Carolina it seems a group of kids were treated to a real-life sexual solicitation while attending a web safety class.

A Randolph County Sheriff’s deputy was demonstrating to the teens about how to stay safe online by posing as a 14-year-old girl online. Within minutes the deputy was being solicited allegedly by one Michael Hager.

Deputies then set up a meeting where they arrested Hager.

Between this and the ‘Dumbfish’ law, I swear that North Carolina has the dumbest sex offenders. And that’s a good thing.

  1. They all screw up eventually.  Some just do it long before others, and (thankfully) some do it before they’ve even had a chance to harm a child.

    1. It’s the ones who have never been caught that really worry me.

  2. Me too…  Also, the ones who’ve been caught and just learn their way around the system to avoid getting caught again.  They worry me, too.
