Back in May of last year, 19-year-old Alexander Treisman was arrested in Kannapolis, North Carolina after police searched his abandoned van that was parked outside of a bank. The van was said to contain a cache of firearms, bomb-making materials, and $500,000 which is said to be part of a family inheritance.
Treisman is also believed to have allegedly plotted an attack against then Presidential candidate Joe Biden. Treisman is said to have made web searches inquiring whether or not Biden received Secret Service protection. He is also said to have posted a meme to Reddit that said “Should I kill Joe Biden? Treisman also allegedly traveled to a restaurant in Delaware that was four miles from Biden’s home. On his phone during his trip to Delaware, Treisman is said to have had a checklist where the final item on the list was ‘execute’.
Treisman was also what’s known as a Columbiner or one that identifies with and sometimes emulates the cowardly killers of Columbine.
However, neither of those are why Treisman is going to jail. Instead, Treisman is going to jail because of all the child porn he had in his possession. Treisman’s electronic devices were said to have contained 1,248 videos and 6,721 images of child porn with an additional 637 child porn videos that were sadomasochistic in nature.
Last Thursday, Treisman pleaded guilty to three federal child-pornography charges which could see him go away for over a decade.
Charges for threatening then-candidate Joe Biden have yet to be filed. If they are, Treisman is only looking at five years behind bars.
