In my previous post about the murder of 14-year-old Jose Nunez of Bridgeport, Connecticut, I wondered if Jose was being groomed by his alleged killer, 19-year-old Diante Willoughby. The reason I thought this was that the reports I read all said that Jose was lured to his death by Willoughby over Snapchat.
It seems my fear has been confirmed that Willoughby may be a sexual predator and that he may have more victims.
Jose’s family says Willoughby had offered the 14-year-old money in the past for hugs and illicit photos and that he often visited the neighborhood and engaged with children.
“He would buy them Uber Eats. He would give them money for anything,” Wendy Rivera, the victim’s aunt, said.
Police in Bridgeport are asking that anyone who may have been victimized by Willoughby to call them.
