Neo-Nazi pedophile politician extradited to California

To summarize,  40-year-old Nathan Larson of Catlett, Virginia is a failed politician who previously ran for office on a platform of white supremacy and pedophilia. He was arrested at the Denver Airport after allegedly travelling to Fresno, California to kidnap a 12-year-old girl who he had groomed online. There are many more details to the story than that, so I recommend reading my previous posts as linked above.

Last week, Larson was extradited from Denver where he was arrested to Fresno, California where he’s accused of kidnapping his victim from her home.

Larson is facing a litany of federal charges including kidnapping, transportation of a minor with intent to engage in illegal sexual activity, online coercion and enticement, sexual exploitation of a minor, and receiving and distributing child pornography. According to the Fresno County Sheriffs Office, Larson is currently not eligible for bail.

Larson is said not to be cooperating with Fresno detectives and instead requested an attorney.

Since his arrest, more of Larson’s victims have come forward from South Carolina, New York, Canada, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.

Larson’s next court appearance is scheduled for this Wednesday the 17th.

Previously, I stated that Larson’s case reminded me a lot of Scott Shefelbine’s. Shefelbine was a prolific MySpace predator who was arrested over a dozen times for various offenses involving underage girls and MySpace. Shefelbine’s parents repeatedly posted his bail. Shefelbine’s mother even tried using a church bulletin as evidence that Shefelbine was at church instead of assaulting a 14-year-old girl. During one of Shefelbine’s court appearances, Shefelbine’s father physically struck a female reporter.

In Larson’s case, it was his mother who allegedly bought him the plane ticket from DC to Fresno and Larson’s father is said to have assaulted a federal agent while the home he shared with his son was being searched.

There’s nothing like parents who enable their predatory adult sons, is there?
