I originally posted about Jason Musgrove here. Back in December 2019, he was arrested for sharing child porn on the mobile messaging app Kik. It wasn’t just any child porn, though. Musgrove was a member of an incest themed chat room on Kik and had secretly recorded explicit images of a minor female relative with a hidden camera.
In that chat room, Musgrove announced his intentions to allegedly drug and rape the relative by using what he called a “good night cocktail.”
In September 2020, Musgrove pleaded guilty to producing child porn. This week, Musgrove was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison. He also has to pay restitution to his victims and be on supervised release for 15 years after serving his sentence. Even then he must not have contact with any child under 18 including his own.
In order to get access to the incest chat room on Kik, Musgrove had to provide explicit images of his underage relative to the group. Since Kik is the domain of sex offenders, pedophiles, child porn collectors, and child traffickers, just imagine how many others are violating the trust of their family by disregarding the basic tenets of parenting?
